Privacy policy

HISHIKAWA LAW OFFICE (“HLO”) will comply with the Law Concerning Protection of Personal Information and other related laws and ordinances in handling personal information and endeavor to handle such personal information properly.

1.	Acquisition HLO shall properly obtain personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purpose of use of the information.
2.	Purpose of the use HLO shall use personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the following purposes that relate to the legal services by HLO, etc.: (1) Handling legal matters; (2) Providing information concerning HLO, offering other information related to legal services by HLO, and sending letters of greeting, etc.; (3) Responding to inquiries, etc.; and (4) Performing other activities of HLO in an efficient manner.
3.	Use for purposes other than those stated above HLO shall not use personal information for any purposes other than the purposes stated No.2 above without the consent of the relevant person, except as otherwise provided by laws or ordinances or unless such purpose of use is separately notified or announced.
4.	Provision to third parties HLO shall not provide personal information to any third party without the consent of the relevant person, except as otherwise provided by laws or ordinances.
5.	Safety measures HLO shall take necessary and suitable measures, and shall manage such personal information properly in order to prevent leakage, etc. of personal information. HLO shall also properly supervise its employees concerning the handling of personal information, and monitor any third party who has been entrusted with the handling of personal information by HLO, for the proper management of the personal information by the third party.
